The ladies at the A Passion for Homes website (see earlier posts) have just posted a video of their launch party.
I was the guest speaker at the launch at a swish location in the shadow of The Shard in London.
I can give away a secret about the launch: it isn't tea in the lovely china cups, but champagne and elderflower sparkling wine!
Here is the latest press release from the A Passion for Homes team -
Video support vital to the launch of A Passion for Homes website
Using video to ensure the launch of A Passion for Homes in February was caught on film, including an interview with TV presenter and A Place in the Sun presenter Laura Hamilton, was an important aspect for this new company.
‘We felt it was important that this landmark day in our history was made into a short film that summed up who we are, our passion and why companies have wanted to get involved with A Passion for Homes.’ explains Andrea Morgan, director and co-owner, ‘it will also be extremely useful for promotional purposes.’
Supporters of A Passion for Homes appearing on the video include Kevin Green, the self-made millionaire, the biggest private sector landlord in the UK, and one of the stars of TV’s Secret Millionaire and Secret Interview programmes. ‘I am interested to see what develops next with A Passion for Homes – they have dared to dream!’
Sarah Brown from Rightmove also delivers a speech at the launch, where she sums up the feel of the company – ‘When A Passion for Homes came to pitch to Rightmove, our MD joined the meeting and gave them a grilling and was so impressed with their enthusiasm, that’s one of the main reasons why we wanted to get involved with the company.’
Vernon Pethard from Newhomesforsale.co.uk agrees, when explaining why the company got involved with A Passion for Homes he said, ‘we like working with people who have a passion for what they do and that’s why we were sold on such a fantastic concept.’
Offering their services for this important element of the launch day was Sian from the Metcalfe Partnership, including Pure Motion Productions, who are known for producing video tours for estate agents selling properties, including Red Kite Homes, Kemp and Co and Pure Properties.
A Passion for Homes is also a marketing agency. Jo and Andrea offer companies within the property and home industry specialist and targeted marketing and social media services and training, as well as opportunities to appear on the new website.
The launch of A Passion for Homes was on Thursday 14th February at a converted Victorian warehouse, now a private residence, in the Tower Bridge area of London, for sale with Chesterton Humberts.
